Are your movers qualified?
Only movers with significant experience are hired onto our team. In addition, all Atlanta Premier Moving employees are trained in our in-house packing and loading classes. From there, routine performance evaluations are completed to help us identify areas of improvement. We strive to provide every customer with a well-oiled relocation machine in hopes that all “moving day” stress will be lifted.
Each truck is stocked with moving blankets/pads and high strength shrink wrap. Every piece of furniture is wrapped completely with blankets/pads and then shrink wrap is pulled tight around the item. We provide this service with EVERY move at no extra charge.
How will Atlanta Premier Moving protect my belongings?
Atlanta Premier Moving conforms its pricing with the rates set forth by the Georgia Public Service Commission. On local moves, we charge on an hourly basis which varies based on how many movers you select. Pricing for long distance moves is based on the weight and distance. Acceptable payment types are credit card (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover), cash, check, and certified funds.

How do I get an estimate for my move?
The moving estimate will only be as accurate as the information you provide. Our relocation coordinators are professionals and want to provide you with the most precise estimate possible. For them to do this, make sure you give them as much information as possible on the “estimation form” we will send to you via fax or email upon request. We mainly want to know: what you need to move, where you need to move it to and from, and any obstacles that might slow down your movers (i.e. stairs, long walk to the truck, community elevator).
How accurate will the moving estimate be?
Normally, foul weather does not interfere with a move. Larger items will be completely wrapped with blankets and shrink wrap. And smaller items will most likely be sealed up in boxes.
How will bad weather affect my move?
Tipping the movers is entirely up to you. Atlanta Premier Moving relocation teams do not expect to be tipped. However, if your team does an excellent job, exceeding your expectations and you do wish to leave a tip, gratuity of 2-5% for the entire crew is typical.
Should I tip my movers?
Every move comes with the standard, state mandated $300 of coverage for repairing or replacing goods in the event damage does occur. Additional valuation coverage is available for a minimal charge.
What if something is broken on my move?
Changing your scheduled move to a different day or time is not a problem at all. Just make sure you give us at least 2 days notice, and keep in mind that our books fill up quickly so you may want to give extra notice to ensure you get the day and time you want.
What if I need to change my moving day?
There are moving companies out there that will overbook themselves on certain days and cancel the projects with smaller profit margin. Atlanta Premier Moving is not one of those companies. Each and every move is handled with the same degree of importance. Rain or shine, when you book a move with Atlanta Premier Moving we will be there at the agreed time or within the agreed time window. On the same token, the deposit we take ensures that the customer holds up his or her end of the agreement.
